Pistol Shoot Sunday 11th March at 1pm. Jess may setup something interesting for us.

Long Range Rifle Shoot Sunday 18th March at 1pm. Normal format, 5 rounds for tightest group at 100 yards, followed by 5 rounds on steel at each of 270/470/570/640 yards. All the steel must be shot with the same rifle, but you can shoot the tightest group at 100 yards with another rifle if you wish.

Next shoots:

Jack Richmond Memorial Shoot Sunday 4th March at 1pm. Normal format, man-on-man with pistols on the 25 yard range to determine the trophy winner, followed by separate rifle and shotgun stages on the 50 and/or 100 yard ranges. Gun sharing available and 9mm/.223/shotty club ammo for sale if you require any (no cash please, an invoice will be emailed to you for online banking payment only please).

You may have already heard the sad news that returning Fiordland Firearms Club member Mark Salmons passed away suddenly on 26th December whilst fishing in Golden Bay.

A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held Monday 8th January at 2pm at St Margaret’s Church, Frankton, followed by a private cremation.

All are welcome to raise a glass to Mark at the Frankton Arms Tavern afterwards.

The December meeting of the Fiordland Firearms Club will be held at 8pm Thursday 8th December in the Real Journeys admin upstairs meeting room above Keplers Restaurant in Te Anau Town Centre.
